Tails on the Trails at the Arboretum
FVDTC will be participating in Morton Arboretum's Tails on the Trails event on Sunday, May 4. We will spend the day talking to people about dogs, training, and -- of course -- FVDTC. There will also be an opportunity to demonstrate some of the things we do at the club, alongside our neighbors at Glenbard and the Medallion Rottweiler Club.
Why do you care? Because it's a great opportunity to see the park with your puppy. AND ... it's also a great opportunity to chat about our favorite pastime with some new friends. Sign up for a 2-hour time slot between 9:00am and 4:00pm and get free entry for the rest of the day.
See more about Tails on the Trails and volunteer to help or contact Carol Nightingale for more details
One more thing -- if you have a canopy we can borrow for the day, please contact Carol Nightingale
FVDTC Members: We Want You!
If you are an FVDTC club member, and want to volunteer to help at a club event, you have several options. The easiest is to go to the club volunteer page:
You can also check the calendar or events pages, and then contact the appropriate committee chair.
If you want to be one of our invaluable instructors or helpers, contact the Director of Training.
Remember, every time you volunteer, you earn work credits toward awards and membership discounts. Thank you for your help.
FVDTC offers a complete range of classes including Puppy, Conformation, Rally, and all levels of Obedience. Many of our members are also involved in Agility, Tracking, Water Rescue Dog, Herding Training, and Therapy Dog work. We are enthusiastic about helping those interested in these various canine activities. FVDTC welcomes mixed breed dogs into our training program. Both Mixed breeds and Purebreds can earn titles through AKC and UKC registries, as well as qualify for club awards.
